MSP (Microsoft Project)

Initially we had manual prototyping. Testing a new car for safety of occupants during an impact required a physical prototype to be:

  • Constructed
  • Crashed
  • And results minutely measured

These measurements were analysed and a generic probable result was put forward. The error involved made it mandatory that these results be adjusted. CAD/ CAM/ CAE brought a paradigm shift to that situation. This started the era of virtual prototyping. Models were constructed virtually and it became possible to run all modes of tests tandem. The measured results were as near actual results. This soon became a very economical mode of operation. The engineers could replicate the experiments with various permutations coded in. the impact of every modification became evident faster. This gave designers greater flexibility and foresight.

Microsoft Project is a flexible online solution for project portfolio management. It enables organizations to start, prioritize project portfolio investments and deliver the intended business value.

With this project management software, you as a project manager can develop a plan, assign resources to tasks, track progress, manage the budget, and analyze workloads.
